Léa Campbell is a British-French photographer whose work explores the complexities of freedom, identity, and displacement.

Driven by a deep curiosity to understand the world and the unique experiences and perspectives unfolding across it, Léa uses photography to engage with underrepresented stories, especially those shaped by contemporary social issues. Her practice centers on how freedom is experienced and interpreted on both individual and societal scales, primarily through the themes of power, migration, conflict, and belonging.

Through socially-engaged work, Léa adopts a collaborative approach to empower and amplify the voices of communities often overlooked in mainstream narratives. She seeks to foster a sense of intimacy, using analogue photography as a way to start conversations and build connections. At its core, Léa’s work is an ongoing meditation on the human condition.
